Defibrillator is a London based theatre company bringing fearless and fluid theatre to a versatile contemporary audience. We aim to bring to life work that has fallen unnoticed or is looking for creative re-invention in spaces, in theatres and site-specific, wherever the project is best served.

Defibrillator have previously presented two acclaimed productions at the Langham, London generating critical acclaim and attracting new audiences both to the Hotel and to the genre of site-specific theatre.

The Hotel Plays by Tennessee Williams was a sell-out, critical hit and The Armour by Ben Ellis went on to win the award for Greatest Guest Experience at the prestigious LE Miami’s REBELS 2015

Recently nominated for a Peter Brook Empty Space Award, the company’s other work includes Rebecca Gilman’s Blue Surge (2011), Doug Lucie’s Hard Feelings (2013) and Alan Seymour’s The One Day of the Year (2015) at the Finborough Theatre along with numerous readings and two pieces of new writing currently in development.
